THE UPPER CANADA CBD EXTRACTION PROCESS:
STEP ONE:
Our process begins with the full hemp plant being lightly ground. That plant material is frozen, then mixed and agitated in a deep-chilled ethanol solution.
STEP TWO:
The material is then taken through a proprietary, step-down filtration process in a refrigerated environment. The resulting ethanol solution only contains the desirable components of the plant.
STEP THREE:
This cannabinoid- and terpene-rich ethanol solution is then run through a custom distillation unit, specifically designed for ethanol-based botanical oil extraction.
STEP FOUR:
Through a careful closed loop distillation process with specifically regulated temperatures and flow, the ethanol is then fully separated from the mix, leaving behind a full spectrum hemp oil rich in cannabinoids and terpenes, true to the original profile of the plant.
